El libro se compone de diez estudios lingüísticos y sociolingüísticos sobre lenguas americanas que tratan temas relacionados tanto con su historia, como con su presente, y que van desde un análisis crítico de ideologías coloniales en su descripción lingüística, pasando por nuevas propuestas sobre su tipología morfológica o el concepto colonial de la lengua general del Inca, los análisis de los resultados del contacto lingüístico o de temas gramaticales como el tópico discursivo o las categorías de tiempo y modo, hasta los ensayos sobre la revalorización social de estas lenguas, su revitalización o la articulación legislativa de su lugar en los medios de comunicación. Las lenguas americanas tratadas más de cerca son el náhuatl, pima bajo, purépecha, quechua, nonuya y guaraní. Entre los autores figuran Klaus Zimmermann, Willem F. H. Adelaar, Fernando Zúñiga, Adolfo Elizaincín, Zarina Estrada Fernández, Juan Alvaro Echeverri, Martha Mendoza, Élodie Blestel y otros.

Wie erscheint die deutsche Sprache im Vergleich zu anderen Sprachen? Welche Rolle hat Deutsch als akademischer Lehr- und Forschungsgegenstand im anderssprachigen Ausland? Es sind Germanisten aus anderssprachigen Ländern und einige 'Binnengermanisten', die diesen Fragen nach aktuellen und tradierten Außenansichten der deutschen Sprache nachgehen. In den Beiträgen werden Außenansichten des Deutschen unter den folgenden Aspekten behandelt Deutsch im Kontrast zu anderen Sprachen Typologische Merkmale des Deutschen im europäischen Vergleich Schwierigkeiten und Vorzüge des Deutschen aus der Sicht anderer Sprachen Kuriositäten der deutschen Sprache aus der Außenansicht Meinungen und stereotype Einstellungen zum Deutschen in verschiedenen Ländern Motive und Ziele von Germanistik und Deutschunterricht im anderssprachigen Ausland

Este volumen es una contribución al panorama de los estudios de historiografía lingüística española desde la perspectiva de las humanidades digitales. A lo largo de diferentes capítulos, se da cuenta de diferentes proyectos planteados como herramientas o recursos digitales de referencia en el área que, además, se constituyen en sí mismos como herramientas metahistoriográficas. ‹br/›La presentación y descripción de estas investigaciones permite reflexionar acerca de los nuevos retos que plantea la transformación digital en las formas de investigar y en las estructuras académicas. El objetivo es, por tanto, superar los límites del área dando también espacio a los retos y a las reflexiones técnicas, científicas y académicas que los proyectos de este tipo plantean hoy a la investigación en humanidades, así como ofrecer diferentes ejemplos de la intersección entre tal investigación y el mundo digital, y reflexionar acerca de la producción y distribución de conocimiento en un área científica especializada como la historiografía lingüística hispánica.‹br/›‹br/›

The 13th edition of the Nordic Prosody (NP) conference series is to be proudly hosted by the Centre of Industrial Electronics (CIE) at the University of Southern Denmark, and here on the science campus Alsion, Sonderborg, Denmark. The University of Southern Denmark (SDU) is both the third largest and the third-oldest Danish university. Since the introduction of the ranking systems in 2012, the University of Southern Denmark has consistently been ranked as one of the top 50 young universities in the world by both the Times Higher Education World University Rankings and the QS World University Rankings. The SDU is also among the top 20 universities in Scandinavia. Nordic Prosody conferences take place every 4 years. The first one was in Lund in 1978, organized by Eva Gårding, Gösta Bruce and Robert Bannert. The 12th Nordic Prosody was in 2016 in Trondheim, Norway. The conference series focuses on the forms and functions of prosodic patterns in Nordic languages and in languages spoken around the Baltic Sea. Contributions on all the various aspects of phonetics, phonology, and speech typology are welcome. Papers presenting new corpora, methods, or devices can be equally submitted. We also encourage researchers from neighboring disciplines like (second language) pedagogy, acoustics, human-machine interaction, and voice pathology to submit conference contributions.
